Bild Diploma in Practice Leadership in Positive Behaviour Support

This established BTEC Level 5 Diploma Practice Leadership in Positive Behaviour Support provides PBS practitioners with the skills and knowledge to coach and influence the practice of others so they can provide capable and supportive environments in which people thrive.

The qualification is for people who work directly with people in health, social care or education. Putting learning into practice, the Diploma enables learners to improve the life of a person they directly support by understanding unmet needs and making changes to the person’s support.

Learners will gain an understanding of the values and evidence base of good PBS and how these translate in direct practice.  The importance of relationships, co production, trauma informed working and meaningful engagement will be covered as well as understanding that behaviour is a form of communication, influenced by a person’s experiences, relationships, and environment.

A strength based functional assessment is completed and learners coproduce a PBS plan under the supervision of their tutor.

All Bild Diploma courses support learners to develop and deepen skills in Practice Leadership.
