New resource for Bild members – Exploring Sexual and Social Understanding

Bild is pleased to be able to offer a fantastic new exclusive resource to our members.

Exploring Sexual and Social Understanding is a now out of print resource pack, by Karen Dodd, Keith Jones, Heather Liddiard and James Stroud.

Designed for people working with people with learning disabilities, it was developed to provide a flexible visual resource that can be used to assess sexual knowledge and capacity to consent, and help to teach and discuss appropriate social and sexual behaviour.

It consists of 214 pictures that can be rearranged to tell various stories and can function as an educational resource or a tool to assess a person’s understanding of appropriate sexual behaviour.

In addition, the resource also includes a capacity assessment form for consent to a sexual relationship.
