PBS in the Afternoon: Deconstructing the expert model of PBS
Our ‘PBS in the Afternoon’ events seek to enlighten and involve PBS practitioners, and inform the debate about some of the key issues in PBS. We are inviting international figures to present their thoughts and research on important and relevant issues in PBS, then open up a conversation with the audience. Our fourth session will be on the topic of deconstructing the expert model of PBS.
There is often a perception that PBS is for the ‘experts’, and not something that everyone can do. Through this event, Meme and Linda will show how PBS specialists can really engage and empower colleagues and families to be true partners in implementing PBS.
As well as hearing Meme and Linda speak on this important subject, we will be using breakout rooms to give you opportunities to discuss key themes, questions and applications for practice.
We think this will be a great opportunity to focus on similarities and differences in implementation across cultures, countries and populations and will provide learning opportunities for everyone. Join in and be part of the conversation!
