Bild International Positive Behaviour Support Conference 2021
We look forward to being able to come together in person once more at the Bild International Positive Behaviour Support Conference from 11-13 October this year, in Glasgow. This year’s theme is the evolving world of PBS: moving forward together.
We look forward to meeting in person to share good practice, learn new skills, debate key issues and hear about new ideas and developments in the PBS field.
This year we’re delighted to welcome Professor Rob Horner and Professor Kent McIntosh (University of Oregon), who will be speaking about the evolution of Positive Behaviour Support, and shining a light on inequalities and unconscious bias. Speakers will also include Dr Nick Gore and Suzi Sapiets (University of Kent), Tom Tutton (Aspect Australia), Professor Edwin Jones (Bild) and Professor Kathy Lowe (Independent Consultant), with more to be announced in due course.
This isn’t a conference to be missed!
The conference will also celebrate the launch of the new UK definition of PBS (updated from the Gore et al, 2013 definition), and the 10th anniversary of the International Journal of Positive Behavioural Support.
Submit a video poster
This year we’re excited to announce a new way for participants to bring to life what inclusive PBS looks like in their day-to-day practice by creating Video Posters. Find out more about how you can share your examples of good practice here.
We’ll have more information available shortly, so watch this space!
