What the GOLD Steering Group does
The GOLD Steering Group tackles important issues including reducing health inequalities, improving access to timely health checks, and ensuring people, families and support staff have clear, accessible information. We also strengthen the workforce by defining the skills needed to provide quality support and creating better routes for learning and development.
We host a range of free, expert webinars, and run events and conferences to share current best practice.
We also work to shape policy that helps reduce health inequalities. Everything we do is focused on transforming culture, raising standards, and helping people with learning disabilities live long, happy, healthy lives.
