The Bild Diploma in Practice Leadership in Supporting Good Health and Wellbeing prepares social care practitioners to make a real difference to the health and wellbeing of those they support.
This new BTEC Level 5 qualification focuses on addressing health inequalities, improving access to care, and promoting wellbeing across all stages of life.
Learners will examine social and systemic barriers, develop person-centred practice strategies, and understand key legislation and safeguarding across the UK. They will also build skills in recognising health deterioration, managing long-term conditions and supporting life transitions.
With emphasis on leadership, service improvement, and collaborative working, the programme ensures that support for health and wellbeing is inclusive, proactive, and responsive to individual’s needs.
All Bild Diploma courses support learners to develop and deepen skills in Practice Leadership.
The Bild Diploma holds 36 credits, and expects 360 learning hours.

Learner requirements:
- Learners must have English skills equal to Level 2A as set out by the British Council in order to access, engage with and complete the qualification.
- Learners must be social care practitioners working directly within services.
