Bild has worked with many organisations over the years in the private, public and voluntary sector to improve quality of life for people with learning disabilities.
This page shares some of the recent projects we’ve delivered in partnership with private and third sector organisations.
Some of our recent projects
-
Accessible Transport with TfL and People First
Bild partnered with Transport for London and People First support TfL’s work increasing accessibility to public transport in London.
Led by people with lived experience, we gathered real insight into barriers people experienced, helping shape future customer initiatives, and supporting learning of Transport for London staff.
The project demonstrated Bild’s value in coproducing accessible services, translating experience into practical change, to help build a fairer, more inclusive transport network. -
Accessible Banking with Nationwide and Stroke Association
Bild partnered with Nationwide and the Stroke Association to co-design Speak Easy, a nationwide in-branch communication tool for customers with communication difficulties.
Working alongside people with lived experience, we helped create accessible, practical resources that enable clearer, fairer face-to-face banking.
The cards were rolled out across 600+ branches. Bild’s contribution enabled specialist insight into inclusive service design for people with learning disabilities, supporting Nationwide to remove barriers, empower customers, and embed accessibility at scale.
