Take your skills to the next level with a Bild PBS BTEC Qualification Don’t miss the chance to get your application in by Friday 17th September!

Are you looking to improve the direct support you provide individuals with learning disabilities through a practice-based qualification?

Do you want to help improve people’s quality of their life and independence skills?

Would you like to be able to coach other people in Positive Behaviour Support (PBS)?

If you answer yes to any of the above questions, look no further as our Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) qualification could be for you! Applications for our current cohort are closing on Friday 17th September.

Our bespoke BTEC PBS qualification is offered at two levels and provides you with a recognised professional qualification. The courses, designed to offer a comprehensive and contemporary knowledge of PBS that has direct applications in the workplace, are undertaken primarily online via a combination of films, webinars, reading and interactive activities, alongside some practice-based assessments. Regular small tutorial group sessions support the learning journey too.

The BTEC level four Certificate takes four months to complete while the BTEC level five Diploma, aimed at practice leaders, takes 12 months.

Past participants completing the qualifications have found the knowledge, skills and strategies learned to be practical and applicable to their day-to-day work, helping to make positive changes in the lives of people they support.

Current learner, Bobby said: “I applied to the course because I have had a long-held dream to be a recognised and appropriately qualified PBS Practitioner….If you want to learn from experts who aren’t just educators, who actually do the job, I’d definitely recommend this course. Especially if you have an interest in promoting a good quality of life for individuals with learning disabilities.”

The BTEC Certificate in Positive Behaviour Support costs £780 per person, while the BTEC Diploma Practice in Positive Behaviour Support costs £1,790 per person. Bild members qualify for a 10% discount on both courses, taking the cost down to £702 and £1,611 respectively.
