The Service

local generic health services and specialist community teams to support
people with complex health needs.

What
was going well?
- Most
people have privacy when receiving personal care, which is done well.
Some people have strong family relationships and family views are listened
to.
- Staff
work very hard to keep people safe.
- Most
people get a lot of support to stay healthy.
- Some
staff members respect individual differences and support individuals
as much as they can.
What
needs to be improved?
- The service
needs to do more to offer choices to people, and help people who don't
use speech be involved in major life decisions.
- Most
people have very limited involvement in everyday activities.
- Some
people are not always treated with respect and some people require more
support to keep them safe.
- Few people
have relationships with people other than paid staff or family members.
- Most
people have very little involvement in the local community.
Summary
The Quality Network Service Review enabled the Trust to identify areas
that can be developed to improve the quality of life for the residents
in this service. The action plan sets out what needs to be achieved to
