BILD Voluntary Group membership

BILD's membership for voluntary groups with up to 5 staff gives every staff member access to all the benefits of individual membership.  

Membership opens the door to the networks and sources of information that can aid your work.

As a Voluntary Group member your benefits include:

  • A free online subscription to one of the leading journals in learning disabilities: choose from the British Journal of Learning Disabilities, or the Journal of Applied Research in Intellectual Disabilities with online access to back copies and online search facilities for the journal of your choice 

  • Access to the Wiley Online Library gives you a powerful search facility covering a library of research and good practice reports in BJLD and JARID over the last 20 years.

  • A fortnightly update from BILD keeping you up to date with our work and news and information from other organisations See a sample of the Update > 

  • Discounts on BILD's training and consultancy services, with free training needs consultancy

  • Discounts on places at BILD conferences

  • The opportunity to influence BILD by using your vote at our Annual General Meeting

You can have a printed copy of your journal by paying a supplement of £6.50 for BJLD (for the four editions in the year) or £13.50 for JARID (for the six editions in the year).
