Sarah Leitch

Current role

As well as working as a Positive Behaviour Consultant, Sarah is the Development Manager for the Centre for the Advancement of Positive Behaviour Support.

Qualifications

  • MSc Mental Health (Learning Disabilities)
  • Diploma in Management
  • NVQ4 Management NVQ 4 Social Care
  • MSc Analysis and Intervention in Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities 

Experience

Sarah has extensive experience of working within the social care and voluntary sector. Previously Sarah has undertaken the role of Operational Behaviour Support Advisor for a large voluntary organisation developing policy and training, and the Service Manager of a research and service development project for Sexual Abuse Treatment services.

Areas of expertise

Sarah’s specific areas of expertise are Looked after Children, behavioural and mental health issues, learning disability, autism, restraint reduction strategies and staff support systems.
