Dublin 2010 - BILD's International Research and Practice Conference
5 to 7 May 2010 – The Grand Hotel, Malahide, Dublin
This
International Research and Practice Conference will be the 10th annual behaviour
support event hosted by the British Institute of Learning Disability (BILD).
These events have traditionally focused on best practice in the use of physical
interventions, and the drive to create and further raise standards in training
and practice has often led to constructive debate on a range of controversial
issues such as mechanical restraint, seclusion and the use of chemical
restraint.
The event will balance research and practice with a range of speakers and
practice based workshops. Using an established and successful format, this will
be a great opportunity to hear from acknowledged experts in the field and to
gain a wealth of knowledge, engage in debate and exchange new ideas over two
busy days.

the information leaflet and booking form.
