BILD flexible learning

BILD flexible learning is an ideal way for individuals to study for a learning disability qualification

Learners receive their stuidy materials from BILD, including a study book and assessment booklet. Each learner is registered with the awarding body and will receive a certificate on successful completion of their unit of study.

Each learner is allocated a tutor for a period of time. The tutor will provide a telephone induction to introduce them to the materials and the assessment process. The tutor maintains contact with each learner through email, telephone and post, marks assignments, provides supportive feedback.

Flexible learning is available for

- Induction Award units
- Your role as a learning disability worker
- Principles of learning disability support
- Protecting people with a learning disability from abuse
- From August 2007 – OCN accredited units, former mandatory and optional units from the LDAF qualification
- Selected units from Higher Professional Diploma in Learning Disability Services
